The Haggard self catering accommodation in Castleblayney County Monaghan is a refurbished 3 bed old stone barn loft with a newly built extension.

Sleeping up to 6 people, This self catering holiday home has been constructed using the top of a split level traditional old stone barn. It has been beautifully restored to provide kitchen, sitting room and dining room space which now connects to a newly constructed modern 3 bedroom extension.

The private entrance to the building has accessibility for wheelchair users. The new extension is built on a piece of ground which was traditionally used to stack grain and hay commonly known as the Haggard.

While enjoying the charm of an old traditional style accommodation facility, both the old and new areas of this holiday home have been tastefully decorated with beautiful features and modern appliances which add value to the enjoyment of the stay.

Within the new extension, two of the bedrooms include a double bed and ensuite while the third bedroom includes two single beds which adjoins to it’s own bathroom with a wet room. A utility room offering clothes washing facilities completes the makeup of the new extension.

In this old stone barn, the upper floor has an open plan kitchen, sitting room and dining room space. The kitchen has all necessary electric appliances fridge freezer, oven, ceramic hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. While the sitting room with comfortable settees and a modern wood pellet burner has a 60-inch flat screen TV. The dinning room can seat 6 people at its table.

There is a small patio area which is surrounded by old stone walls which captures the evening sunset. There is ample parking on site
